Greetings!
Since our successful 2013 World Conference in Canada, the World Congress of GLBT Jews has embarked on the endeavor of redeveloping its website. We want to enhance our goal of establishing connections and growing LGBT Jewish communities around the world.
We are looking for website developers to help us! To be part of the team, we are looking for people with a borderless vision, who understand the importance of our mission of supporting, inspiring, and strengthening local groups to achieve equality and security for LGBT Jews worldwide.
If you have expertise or some experience in website development, graphic design and electronic social networking, contact us and we will get in touch with you! We are looking for a diverse, global team. Please send me an e-mail to coordinator@glbtjews.org

AUSTRALIA - Victoria's first Jewish gay commitment ceremony; synagogue prepares to host first gay and lesbian festival celebration
When Ilana Gelbart said "yes" to Krissy Adrian's elaborate proposal, the issue wasn't coming out of the closet, it was conversion.
"It was more difficult for me because Krissy had to get converted; when we got together she wasn't Jewish," Ms Gelbart said.
On August 18, the Elsternwick couple became the first gay couple in Victoria to have a Jewish commitment ceremony.
And now their progressive synagogue, Temple Beth Israel in St Kilda, is hosting the first-ever celebration of the Midsumma Gay and Lesbian Festival in a synagogue, on January 31, in partnership with Keshet, the national GLBTI Jewish advocacy group.

ISRAEL - Israel's gay holocaust memorial debuts in Tel Aviv
Israel unveiled Friday a memorial in Tel Aviv to remember the gay and lesbian victims of Nazi persecution, in a ceremony attended by Germany's ambassador.
Members of Tel Aviv's gay community turned out to see the stone monument, modelled on the pink triangle Nazis made homosexuals wear in concentration camps during World War II, which features inscriptions in German, Hebrew and English.
"In addition to the extermination of Europe's Jews, the Nazis committed many atrocities, in an attempt to destroy anyone who was considered different," Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai said at the unveiling. "This monument reminds us all how important it is for us to respect every human being," he said.
