Who We Are

The Canadian Centre for Child Protection is a registered charitable organization dedicated to the personal safety of all children. Our goal is to reduce child victimization by providing programs and services to the Canadian public.
  • Our Mission:
    • REDUCE the incidence of missing and sexually exploited children
    • EDUCATE the public on child personal safety and sexual exploitation
    • ASSIST in the location of missing children
    • ADVOCATE for and increase awareness about issues relating to missing and sexually exploited children
For close to 30 years, we have been providing grassroots service delivery, first as Child Find Manitoba and then through the successful evolution into the Canadian Centre for Child Protection (May 2006). We have a strong history of incorporating innovative strategies to reduce child victimization and continue to grow and learn.

  • Our Core Values:
Our organization’s identity is defined by the values that are considered essential to our existence – it is the source from which all aspects of our organization flow. Four core values serve as the foundation for how we communicate to our stakeholders:
    • CARING: We care about people. We are committed to act with compassion, integrity, and honesty in all situations and we listen with respect and empathy.
    • EXCELLENCE: We are determined to achieve ambitious, measurable outcomes in working toward our mission. We strive for accuracy and credibility in the relentless pursuit of results.
    • PROTECTION: We are committed to making a difference in the area of child protection. We work as a team to reduce child victimization and improve child personal safety.
    • INNOVATION: We show creativity, drive, and adaptability to solve problems and think progressively when working toward our vision. We are passionate about new possibilities and implement innovative ideas to create value.
