We wanted to let you know about some tasty treats from Palestine available through our online store!

From fair-trade honey (and the accompanying olive wood honey spoons) to mouth-watering sun-dried tomato and caper spread, you are in for a treat when you shop our Kitchenware & Edibles page!

Keep browsing for the traditional Zaatar spice mix which has sesame seeds and ground indigenous oregano/thyme that grows wild in the hills of Palestine. It goes perfectly with our olive oil and is a breakfast staple in many Palestinian homes. Here are a few recipes with Zaatar to inspire you!

For more recipes, check out our selection of Middle Eastern cookbooks including this special book, The Palestinian Kitchen, an initiative of women activists of the Madaa Creative Center to revive and celebrate the cuisine and culture of Silwan, East Jerusalem. Over 49 easy to prepare recipes drawn from rich and varied culinary traditions. Recipes are divided into main courses, desserts, and appetizers and salads with easy to follow instructions. Also provides an overview of history of Silwan and descriptions of contemporary life. All proceeds from the sale of these books go to our partner organization to support their various activities including the planned publication of an Arabic version of this book.
