Update on Negotiations with the Israeli Government Government negotiations, in which Women of the Wall engaged in coalition with the Conservative and Reform movements in Israel and abroad and the North American Federations, have been stopped due to upcoming elections.  The Israeli government today is a transitional government and cannot reach any agreements or decisions, include that involving Women of the Wall.  We believe that after elections, a government will be assembled and we will resume negotiations from the place where we last left off. This process, as in all political negotiation, is complicated and done in full discretion.
